Just got my September issue of Acoustic Guitar Mag and there on page 86 is our own John Kinnaird. Great article John. Good to see you getting some airplay. How is the new shop coming?

Thanks guys. It felt good but kinda random if you know what I mean. It could have just as easily been one of you guys. Just got lucky.

Well deserved congratulations to you John. You're gonna be busier than ever I'm sure. Before now I didn't know where you're located. I'm only a state away in sunny (and sweltering) Columbia, SC.

Bruce Dickey, it's great to see you posting here again. Your friendliness, generosity, & good humor have been missed.

OK, that's it. I'm done. Kaput. I quit.

$2700 for a "Kinnaird West Coast model with Malaysian blackwood back and sides and redwood top."

Heck with building guitars, I just found me a luthier I can afford!

Alright, I admit it. I have the "bug", and I will build a few or die, whichever comes first. I wouldn't be content to buy every instrument, but hot dang, that sure is an affordable starting price point!

Nice article, congratulations John!

Dennis

Oh heck Dennis
I must admit that that guitar was more. $2750 is the base price. It seems to be in line with a what a lot of you guys charge. Am I not right about this?

John,

Cool! Are you working in the attic? I see the ceiling sloping in near you. Well deserved, and I hope the orders start rolling in!

Bruce! Whoa man! Good to see you back. Tell us what you have been building these last few months.

Jeff

Thanks all for the congrats
Jeff, that is a room over my garage, coincidentally, just like where my brother does his work. I have a separate shop away from the house for the heavier dustmakers.

Skip, we should get together sometime and compare notes.
